"Secrets of Dubna Forests"
The event began with a small performance by the ensemble of the Nekrasov family. The songs of L. Filatov "Multi‑colored Moscow", V. Milyaev "Spring tango", B. Okudzhava "Georgian song", "After the rain" and others were presented.
Further, Anastasia Pishchugina, a specialist in organizing events, told how the idea of the exhibition had arisen, "Once, several JINR researchers came to the library with a proposal to make a photo exhibition of rare Dubna plants listed in the Red Book. We thought the idea was wonderful but making only a photo exhibition is not so interesting. Somehow, Nastya Zlobina joined these discussions. She became very interested and offered to show voluminously the Dubna forest."
After that, Vladimir Malinin, a researcher at FLNR, spoke in more detail about the concept of the exhibition, "Dubna forests are very rich in plants and animals and this is no coincidence. Primarily, because they bring together a large number of different plant communities." Vladimir also explained about the various symbioses of plants and animals that are on the territory of our forests. The purpose of the exhibition was to give an idea of the life of the Dubna forests.
Afterwards, the word passed to Head of the JINR Artists’ Club Anastasia Zlobina. She told about the interactive‑cognitive part of the exhibition. Several more members of the Club said words of gratitude to Anastasia and the rest of the participants that had worked on preparing the exhibition.
Two-sided paintings with forest species at different times of the day, painted with acrylic, paper and fabric ground beetle, ceramic ant, fireman beetles (knitted panel) - all this and much more are presented at the exhibition. One can watch the installation "Secrets of Dubna Forests" until the end of July.
