Spin in contemporary physics: experiment and theory
The goal of the meetings is to promote progress in experimental and theoretical understanding of the role of spin in modern high energy physics and nuclear physics. Of particular importance is the scientific programme of the NICA Collider, in which spin physics is widely represented.
The topics of the meeting were: the recent experimental data on spin physics; nucleon spin structure, partonic TMD and GPD distributions; spin physics and QCD; spin physics in the Standard Model; fundamental symmetries beyond the Standard Model; polarization and heavy ion physics; spin in gravity and astrophysics; spin physics at the NICA Accelerator Complex; polarimeters for high energy polarized beams; acceleration and storage of polarized beams; new polarization technologies.
