JINR scientists at Vietnam Conference

A delegation of BLTP and MLIT employees took part in the 51st Vietnam Conference on Theoretical Physics (VCTP‑51) that was held on 3 – 6 August in Nha Trang, according to the JINR website.

The event brought together more than 170 participants from Vietnam, Germany, India, China, Pakistan, Russia, Taiwan, the Philippines and Japan. The scientific programme of the Conference affected the fields of high energy physics, nuclear physics, condensed matter physics and cosmology, others.

The Institute staff presented 10 plenary and sectional reports on all areas of the Conference. BLTP Director Dmitry Kazakov, the BLTP leading researcher Viktor Yushanhai and the MLIT senior researcher Lyudmila Syurakshina acted as guest speakers. The leading researcher Alexander Gusev (MLIT), the leading researcher Anton Baushev, the senior researcher Georgy Kalagov, the researcher Adila Afzal, the junior researcher Vu Dong Chan, the trainee researchers Vladislav Filippov and Nikita Moiseev (BLTP) spoke about their investigations.
