The youth are giving reports

Since 9 December, FLNP JINR has hosted the Annual Conference of FLNP Young scientists and Specialists, at which 43 reports have been given.

The Conference is a competition of research papers performed in the field of nuclear physics, condensed matter physics, physics and technology of reactors and accelerators, life sciences, engineering, as well as science and methodology for scholarships named after I.M.Frank and F.L.Shapiro. Also, at the Conference, the winners of AYSS Grants delivered reports. "This is the sixth time we are holding a conference of FLNP young scientists and specialists," FLNP Director Egor Lychagin said. "From year to year, it not only maintains a high level in terms of the number and quality of papers presented, but also has turned into a traditional summing up, allowing one to evaluate the new achievements of the Laboratory and to see the dynamics of its development as a whole."
