A prestigious magazine reports on the NICA project

Papers presented at the international online seminar on data processing and analysis methods in experiments at the NICA accelerator complex have been published in a special issue of Particles 2023, 6 (2).

The seminar, organized jointly by NRNU MEPhI and JINR, was held on 13-15 December, 2022. For the first time, it brought together people involved in the theory and analysis of real data from experiments on the research of relativistic nucleus-nucleus collisions, as well as the preparation of new BM@N and MPD experiments at the NICA accelerator complex. More than 100 scientists from Bulgaria, Brazil, Israel, China, Mexico, Russia, USA participated in the seminar.

One of the editors of the special issue was a leading researcher at VBLHEP, Deputy Head of the MPD Collaboration Arkady Taranenko. 14 published papers were reviewed by 31 scientists from 15 countries: Brazil, Hungary, Germany, India, Italy, Canada, China, Norway, Poland, Pakistan, Russia, Romania, Slovakia, USA, Japan.

Particles is an international peer-reviewed open access journal covering all aspects of nuclear physics, elementary particle physics and astrophysics, published quarterly by the MDPI online publisher.
