Youth and science Future of medical physicsTen students of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) have completed an internship at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research within the framework of the undergraduate educational programme "Medical physics" jointly with MEPhI and JINR.
The programme includes training in theoretical physics, mathematics, biological and medical physics, as well as basic medicine and biology. A special focus is on nuclear and physical techniques in medicine, current diagnostic devices and computer simulation of physical processes. Research at JINR facilities is an integral part of training. The organizer from FEFU is the JINR Information Centre and Head of the Centre Alexandra Reguzova. This practice is just one example of successful cooperation between JINR and FEFU.
