JINR employees awarded Moscow Region Governor's Prize

Two groups of authors and 13 scientists were awarded the Prize in science, technology, engineering and innovation for young scientists and specialists.

The winners included Head of Group at the Frank Laboratory of Neutron Physics Nikita Yushin and a research assistant at the Veksler and Baldin Laboratory of High Energy Physics Elizaveta Bushmina.

The Moscow Region Governor's Prize for young scientists has been awarded since 2012. Since then, about 200 participants have been awarded the Prize. Projects are evaluated based on the novelty of their developments and results, as well as the region's priorities. This year, 15 prizes will be awarded.

The winners also included the employees of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute, the Research and Production Enterprise "Istok" named after A.I.Shokin, the G.K.Skryabin Institute of Biochemistry and Physiology of Microorganisms of the Russian Academy of Sciences and others.
