"The house I live in"

On 9 September, the opening of the fourth personal exhibition of Olga Trifonova's paintings was held that brought together about a hundred admirers of the artwork of this amazingly gifted person.

Opening the exhibition, the artist Dmitry Efremov noted that the name of the exhibition is not accidental. After all, when we say the word home, our hearts are filled with warmth, tenderness and love. We remember our family, hometown, friends. We clearly understand: our home is our Motherland, our Russia, our Dubna.

And here is the first impression of meeting the city in Olga's words: "The beautiful embankment with apple tree alley and rotundas brought me complete delight. How many times I have written it at different times of the year, especially in autumn and winter, when it is not so crowded. And the old part of the city with cozy cottages in the picturesque embrace of pines and spruces from that first acquaintance still remains a favorite motif for my paintings. And of course, Ratmino, where there is scope for imagination and embodiment on canvas for any artist - a white stone church with a bell tower, the silence of river backwaters in water lilies and reeds..."

This exhibition is certainly a big event for the artist. The audience was presented with a model of the book "Dubna through the eyes of an artist" - the result of Olga Trifonova's many years of friendship with Dubna poets that contains poems dedicated to our beloved city, with her illustrations and graphic sketches. The presentation film based on this book and on Valentina Komarova's poem "Dubna" was greeted with delight by the audience.

There have been meetings in her life that provided new incentives for creativity. Thus, Louise Gelts and Alexander Asmolov turned to her with a request to make illustrations for fairy tales and poems. And when Olga learnt about the poetry of A. Asmolov, the first song based on his poems appeared.

So, with their light hand, she began to write music to poems by Dubna poets, to make her own arrangements for them and perform her songs at musical and poetry evenings in the JINR Library. Elena Pronina's magical performance of the song "Illusion" to the verses of A.Asmolov simply shocked the participants of the evening.

In the 2000s, the famous "Literary Thursdays" in the Universal Public Library of JINR attracted hundreds of readers. No wonder, Olga won the city competition of cultural workers "Muse-2006" in the "Best Director" category.

The Library has provided a stage for musicians and artists, poets and writers, all talented people of our city and beyond. The inspiration with which Olga prepared these holidays of words, music and visual arts was enough to publish a book with illustrations of the poet, a CD with songs and to write a script for the evening.

Particularly noteworthy is the Library project - themed evenings "Science in the faces" about our outstanding scientists: M.G.Meshcheryakov, A.M.Baldin, G.I.Kopylov with the participation of Yulia Kim and of course, A.N.Sisakyan. An unforgettable evening of poetry by Alexey Sisakyan and Valery Milyaev was held at the theater "Impromptu" by Lyudmila Ivanova in Moscow, where Olga Mikhailovna was the author of the slide show and performer...

A.N.Sisakyan, having visited Olga's first personal exhibition of graphics at the JINR Cultural Centre "Mir", asked her to make illustrations for his books. Collection of poems "Friendship. Writing. Memory" was decorated with her graphic sketches of Dubna. They created, in his words, "the atmosphere of the old Dubna," in which the outstanding physicists mentioned in his memoirs lived and worked. And when Olga was working on illustrations for Alexey Norairovich's second book of poems "The Smile of thought," she came up with six songs, one of which she performed at the vernissage.

Theater has always been present in Olga's life. She remembers her work at the Children's Opera Theater of O.N.Ionova with great passion, the idea of which was supported by Lyubov Kazarnovskaya. And of course, teaching played and still plays a huge role in the artist's life. These are drawing and sculpting lessons in the "Art Studio" of the JINR Library, at the Polis Lyceum, at the New School "Yuna".

One can only wonder where this fragile woman gets the power to do it all! But still, the main thing for her is painting! Olga's paintings are her love depicted on canvas. Love for nature, for the Motherland, for our city that undoubtedly deserves love! Looking at them, we, citizens, feel sincere admiration and love for the house in which we live. Landscapes, still-life paintings, graphics - sunny and cheerful, transparent and light, as if in watercolors: cozy corners with benches and lanterns, picturesque gazebos, subtle reflections in quiet water, transparent sky and weightless tree branches.

"My whole life," the author of the exhibition said, "is the incredible joy of creation, painstaking, creative work and of course, meeting talented, unique people. And as a result - books, paintings, songs." Giving thanks to everyone present, Olga Mikhailovna remembered the poems of Alexey Sisakyan:

      Our souls cried and sang,
either delight or fear were born in them.
      Afterwards there were watercolors
in painting, in music, in poetry.
