Cooking class: delicious, cheerful, interesting
The event was held for the first time, in order to attract the children of JINR employees to the process of preparing popular dishes. Pizza was chosen because it is a favorite children's food, besides, it is easy to prepare - dough was prepared in advance, ingredients for the filling were cut. Therefore, every young pizzaiolo could cook it to his liking.
"For the first time, we purchased 20 sets of aprons and caps, rolling pins," a leading specialist at the JINR Hotel and Restaurant Complex Anton Shirikov says. “It was due to the number of participants. We separately purchased kits for accompanying adults. The chef of the restaurant "Dubna" Ivan Saveliev taught the children to roll out the dough in a right way. After the filling was made, the pizzas were signed and baked in a special oven. Children cleaned tables behind them, put things in order in the workplace. That is, everything happened as in a professional kitchen - from the preparation to the moment of receipt of finished products. And afterwards, there was a fun tasting. The participants could take pizza home to treat their relatives if they wished."
The master class lasted an hour and a half. During this time, the participants met each other, gained new knowledge and skills, were able to try their culinary masterpiece among like-minded people. This day gave a lot of creative joy, smiles, pleasure. The pizza "Baku" was especially remembered - an unexpected name and an abundance of tomato sauce.
The first trial ball showed that such a case would be popular and should be held in future. Therefore, the JINR Hotel and Restaurant Complex is going to organize culinary master classes for an expanded audience, they will be held on the basis of the restaurant “Barion”.
