On JINR courts

The 26th Tennis Tournament dedicated to the brothers Boris and Venedikt Dzhelepovs was held in Dubna. It was attended by 46 tennis players in the categories "Men's couples" and "Mixed", as well as by 12 young athletes in the category "Children's couples".

At the solemn opening, the participants were welcomed by JINR Vice-Director Latchesar Kostov, DLNP Director Evgeny Yakushev and Director of Tournament Igor Dzhelepov. The guests of honor have been General Dmitry Faddeev and Lieutenant General Gennady Dyumin for several years.

According to the results of the tournament in the category "Men's couples," the first place was taken by Dmitry Faddeev and Oleg Vasiliev, the second - by Viktor Zalem and Nikolay Aksenov (FLNR), the third place went to Alexander and Mikhail Gorobinskys. In the category "Mixed", the first place was won by Alla Pavlova (DLNP) and Ivan Sushkov, the second - by Svetlana Matkova and Maxim Podlesny (FLNP), the third - by Alexandra Novichkova and Valery Glavinsky. In the category "Children's couples", the first were Makar Starchenko and Ksenia Golunova, the second - Sonya and Nina Shirkovas, the third - David Lundt and Aisha Khasanova.
