Briefly Present and Future of Grid TechnologiesOn 7 - 11 July, the 11th International Conference "Distributed computing and grid technologies in science and education" (GRID'2025) was held in MLIT in a hybrid format. The key topics were the prospects for the development of high-performance and distributed computing, advanced grid technologies and big data processing. The JINR-organized event attracted a record number of participants - almost 300 scientists and specialists from 16 countries of the world. The Conference was dedicated to the founders of the Laboratory of Information Technologies: the 115th anniversary of the birth of Mikhail Meshcheryakov and the 95th anniversary of the birth of Nikolay Govorun and is timed to coincide with the upcoming celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research and the 60th anniversary of the Laboratory of Information Technologies. The Conference partners were the RSK Group, as well as "Platformics" and ITCost. The Conference programme covered a wide range of scientific areas: distributed computing systems, grid and cloud technologies, data storage systems; application software in high-performance computing (HTC and HPC); computing for megascience projects; methods and technologies for experimental data processing; artificial intelligence techniques in the life sciences.
