Spring confessions of love

On 22 February, a concert of the Russian State Academic Chamber "Vivaldi-Orchestra" will be held at the JINR Cultural Centre "Mir".

Recall that six years ago, the 30th anniversary of the only female string orchestra founded in 1989 by famous violinist and famous teacher Svetlana Bezrodnaya was celebrated in the JINR Cultural Centre "Mir". Another concert was held at the end of 2021 and today, the artists are returning to our stage again.

The new "Vivaldi-Orchestra" programme consists mainly of songs by Russian authors of past years. These songs are a kind of confession of love, performed both in the lyrical-dramatic and in a comic way.

The programme declares a lot of compositions by Boris Mokrousov. This is "Flowers in the garden are nice in spring" and "Song of the firefighter in love" and "On the porch", as well as "Kurochkin's biddens" from the famous play of the Satire Theater "Wedding with dowry". Two remarkable songs by Vasily Solovev-Sedoy will also be performed: "Hear me, my good" and "Do not disturb, do not disturb yourself..." It will be interesting to listen, of course and to Anatoly Lepin's song "For her love is fun" from the movie "Girl without addresses" and Andrey Eshpai's song "Peak lady" from the play "Dangerous age".

As the organizers of the concert said, all these songs are rare today, many of them are half-forgotten. Meanwhile, they are a piece of nationwide memory and recall the youth of our relatives, friends that means they serve as a kind of key to understanding the meanings of their life and their ideals. These melodies tell the audience about the people that knew how to maintain the purity of their souls. In addition, in this programme, hits beloved by the "Vivaldi-Orchestra" that were part of the repertoires of the famous dance and jazz orchestras of the world of the middle of the last century will be performed in this programme.

Over the years, the team has played about 3000 concerts. The leader of the team has prepared a unique repertoire, starting from the compositions of the early Baroque to the Russian and foreign avantgarde. In addition, for more than twenty years, the orchestra has been working intensively on other music highways. We are talking about Russian song classics, urban romance, operette, as well as the most striking performances from the repertoires of the world-famous dance and jazz orchestras of the 1920-1950s of the XX century. The patriotic theme that is dedicated to a number of unique projects stands out in the work of Svetlana Bezrodnaya and her team.

Svetlana Bezrodnaya does not hide that both the composition and the name of the orchestra were inspired by the work of the great Antonio Vivaldi. The "Vivaldi-Orchestra" is a kind of "remake" of a women's orchestra founded by Vivaldi at the San Pieta monastery in Venice at the beginning of the 18th century. One of the most important principles of work by Svetlana Bezrodnaya with the team was the system of individual classes with orchestral players that she developed at the Central Music School at the Moscow Conservatory, thanks to which, each performer supports a high professional level.
