Articles accepted for Natural Science Review issue marking JINR anniversary
Natural Science Review‘s editorial board is acccepting articles for the journal’s special issue marking the upcoming 70th anniversary of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, which will be celebrated on 26 March 2026. Publications on the whole range of the Institute’s scientific topics are accepted, along with articles on the history science or technology, international scientific cooperation, etc.
The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research is a unique international intergovernmental scientific research organization that has been integrating the efforts of scientists from different countries in key areas of fundamental science and applied research for many decades. The Institute’s history is marked by a number of outstanding achievements that have become the basis for its modern scientific programme aimed at studying the fundamental laws of nature and applying gained knowledge to benefit the society.
Authors from all over the world are welcome to submit articles, including the Institute’s current and former employees, as well as colleagues and fellow researchers from other scientific organizations. Publications are accepted in the following areas:
astrophysics; particle physics; relativistic heavy-ion physics; nuclear physics; condensed matter physics; radiation biology; ecology; radiochemistry; information technology and computing; theoretical and mathematical physics; scientific articles devoted to the history of science or technology, international scientific cooperation, etc.
Materials are submitted via journal’s official website. When filling out the form please indicate in the Comments field that the article is being sent for a special issue dedicated to the Institute’s anniversary. The deadline for article submission is 31 December 2025. All peer-reviewed articles will be published in the issue that is open until 26 March 2026.
