About summer vacation in 2024

On 23 October, a meeting of the Joint Trade Union Committee on the results of the summer health season for JINR employees and their family members was held.

The employees purchased trip tickets for health resorts in the country and neighboring countries on their own. After treatment (confirmed by an agreement with the health resort for the provision of medical services), employees, upon applications to the social insurance commission, received compensation for the cost of the trip ticket in the amount of 1950 rubles, with a trip ticket duration of at least 10 days and a doctor's referral. Financing of expenses for compensation of the cost of purchasing trip tickets is largely carried out from the Institute's budget. Every year, all employees of the Institute wish to receive compensation for the cost of trip tickets for treatment at a health resort upon a doctor's referral (64 people as of 23 October, 2024).

600 trip tickets at discount prices were provided to the Resort Hotel "Dubna" in Alushta, 756 were distributed, including 108 for children, at the full cost of 38 trip tickets. Despite the difficulties of travel, most vacationers are satisfied with their vacation at the Resort Hotel. Trip tickets were provided to all those that applied on time, with the exception of arrival from 12 September due to the conference.

A great deal of work on organizing the vacation of the JINR employees at the Resort Hotel "Dubna" was carried out by G.S.Krutyakova, by the members of the social insurance commissions of the trade union committees of the Institute's divisions and by P.V.Sushkova (Administrative and Economic Department). The staff of the Resort Hotel deserves gratitude.

During the summer campaign of 2024, there were 17 camps for schoolchildren:

• seven city health camps based on comprehensive schools ("Leto", "Alye Parusa", "Orlenok", "Druzhba", "Solnyshko" - 1st shift, "Solnechnaya Polyana", "Lastochka" - 2nd shift);
• eight additional commercial ones ("RostOK", "Parus", "Energetik", "Letnyaya Astroshkola", IE Yu. V. Suslova, ANCO "Dialog", "Raiskaya Ptitsa", "Fantazery");
• two country health camps - "Sosnovy Bor" and "Salut" (4 shifts each).

In the summer of 2024, 203 children of the Institute employees rested and improved their health in the city and country camps "Sosnovy Bor" and "Salut": in the city health camps - 77 children; in the country children's camp "Sosnovy Bor" - 79; in the country children's camp "Salut" - 7; in additional camps - 40.

The full cost of holiday packages to city and country camps: city camps - 8000 rubles, "Sosnovy Bor" - 40000 rubles, "Salut" - 45200 rubles. The cost of commercial camps varied and depended on the shift and duration of stay in the camp during the day. Parents paid 50 percent of the cost of the holiday package and the Institute paid 50 percent.

The applications submitted by JINR to the camps were not completely satisfied by GORUNO, despite the efforts of Directorate and the TUC. Before the start of the summer season, the TUC sent information to the Institute's divisions about school camps in the Moscow region, the country camp "Salut" (Kimry) and city commercial camps. Guarantees were obtained from the Institute's Administration to pay for all holiday packages in the amount of 50 percent of their full cost. Children with no tickets to the city and country camps organized by GORUNO were paid 50 percent of the cost of holiday package to commercial camps. The trade union committees of the divisions provided financial assistance to the union members to purchase holiday packages.

This year, in order to include more children, those who wished were offered a new country camp "Salut" that like "Sosnovy Bor" is located in the Tver region, on the opposite bank of the Volga. According to children's reviews, they liked the new camp and stated the diverse and interesting programme.

The number of people that wish to obtain holiday packages to school camps is 1.5-2 times greater than the available opportunities. The Children's Committee works in accordance with the Regulation on the distribution of holiday packages. The Children's Committee includes a representative from each division of the Institute. All decisions were made by the Committee collegially. In accordance with the Regulation on distribution, 60% of holiday packages are obtained by children from preferential categories (large families, single-parent families, others).

Considering the great demand in the city for holiday packages to the country camp "Sosnovy Bor", the construction of a new dormitory building in the camp is extremely relevant. The project has been developed, construction is envisaged by the "Schedule of measures for the implementation of the Strategy for the social and economic development of the science city of Dubna in 2017-2026" in 2025. The city organizations interested in this event should make certain efforts to implement this construction.

The JINR employees that participate in the preparation of documents (HR Office, Administrative and Economic Department, Accounts Department) worked promptly, there were no delays in signing documents and paying for contracts. The children's committees in the Institute's departments did a great job.

The TUC Children's Committee has carried out a great job and successfully held a summer health campaign. Active participants included T.V.Antyukhova (IMD), E.A.Barzylovich (Management), R.M.Bazlova (VBLHEP), E.Yu.Malova (DLNP), K.N.Vergel (FLNP), E.I.Aleksandrov (MLIT), L.A.Rubinskaya and G.N.Volnukhina (FLNR).
