The JINR Museum of History of Science and Technology and the JINR Scientists' Club invite everyone to the anniversary creative evening of Genrikh Lyudvigovich Vardenga.

G.L.Vardenga is a scientist, a poet and a translator. He was born in Tbilisi. He graduated from Tbilisi University, since 1962 he had worked at LHE in Dubna where defended his dissertation.

He was one of the initiators of the establishment of the JINR Museum of History of Science and Technology. From 1991 to 2009, he was Director of the Museum.

Genrikh Lyudvigovich is the author of four collections of children's poems and a dozen collections of translations.

The evening will be held on 12 December, at 5:00 PM, in the JINR Scientists' Club.
 

To play via drawing

On 8 December, at 7:00 PM, a master class on flow drawing from graphic artist, digital entrepreneur and researcher of flow states Evgeny Sakhno will be held at the JINR Cultural Centre "Mir".

It sounds serious and difficult. But in fact, it will be two hours of creative play via drawing. There is no need to understand painting or have artistic skills, only you will decide how the lines will look on paper. At the master class, what will be important is not the result, but the process - lightness, spontaneity, movement.

During the lesson, participants will train:

• courage in expressing oneself;
• the skill of entering a state of flow;
• taste for activities based on the body rather than the intellect;
• the ability to create from impulse, spontaneity and intuitiveness;
• the opportunity to be unexpected for oneself;
• the skill of self-therapy, self-help - relaxation, reducing tension and stress, improving mood, concentration;
• overcoming habitual stereotypes of thinking and bodily patterns.

Music, movement and the power of group process will help them in this.
