Students of the Dubna State University
at the AYSS-2023 Conference

More than 20 students, postgraduate students and staff members of the Dubna University took part in the XXVII International Conference of Young Scientists and Specialists AYSS-2023, held at JINR.

In the section "Information Technologies", ISAU graduates, at present, researchers at the Laboratory of Information Technologies of JINR Daria Pryakhina (with a report on the development of a software package for developing digital twins of distributed systems for accumulating, storing and processing data) and Ivan Sokolov that is engaged in the development and support of web applications for the JINR digital ecosystem spoke at the Conference.

In the section "Life Sciences", teachers from the Department of Biophysics of the Faculty of Natural and Engineering Sciences Ekaterina Lesovaya and Vladimir Chausov acted as members of the jury. A graduate of the Department Regina Kozhina was a moderator of the section. Reports and poster presentations were made by master's student Daria Pilinskaya, graduate student Daria Shamina and department graduate Inna Kolesnikova. Daria received a diploma for the best oral report of the section and Inna received a diploma for the best poster. A student from the Department of Nanotechnologies and New Materials Ekaterina Didenko took part in the Conference from FEIN.

From the Engineering Physics Institute, reports were delivered by teachers of the Department of Nuclear Physics - associate professors Vyacheslav Sayko and Maxim Zakharov, assistant and postgraduate student Artem Vasyukov, as well as senior lecturer of the Department of Physical and Technical Systems Valentin Ustinov. IPI postgraduate students also presented their papers: Alexander Popov (with the results of an investigation of neutron transport using neutron guides and magnetic fields) and Maria Mardyban (with a report on the characteristics of the rotational band for odd isotopes 250-260No), Ivan Volkov with a report "Measurements of the polarization of deuteron beams and protons at the Nuclotron." Among the speakers were IPI students: Evgeny Gudkov presented a poster report, Maxim Dzugaev spoke about the development of special electronics for string ion sources, Dmitry Ustinov presented a paper on a track scintillation detector.

In addition, more than 10 IPI graduates that continue their scientific activities at JINR took part in the Conference.
