Congratulations on Russian Science Day!

of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research!

Today, we are celebrating Russian Science Day. This holiday has a special meaning. Science is a powerful and important resource for the development of society and the state, contributes to the implementation of economic transformations and the development of the intellectual and production potential of the country where the Institute is located and of all JINR Member States.

Thanks to the support of the Government of the Russian Federation that gives priority to science, expressed both in the development of research infrastructure and in the creation of comfortable conditions for young researchers, JINR scientists are able to successfully meet the tasks defined by the Seven-Year Plan of Development for the Institute. Russian scientists - members of the multinational Dubna family make a significant contribution to the implementation of the most ambitious scientific projects at the forefront of world science at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. On this day, the Institute's staff congratulates all the colleagues from research organizations and higher educational institutions of Russia on the holiday.

At the meetings of the JINR Programme Advisory Committees held on the eve of our professional holiday, significant results obtained by the Institute's staff members in all areas of research were highlighted. I am sure that this year, JINR will present the Russian and international community with a number of outstanding scientific results and events.
