To the history of a disease...

Our Medical Unit No.9 of the FMBU of Russia sends patients with complex diseases to the Burnazyan State Medical Research Center of the FMBA of Russia. So, I went to the Department of Ophthalmology of this clinic to Professor V.N.Trubilin. And after the treatment, I cannot but express my admiration for how everything is organized there and the way the treatment and rehabilitation are carried out. The Department is small, the building is old, but nevertheless, the service and sanitary conditions of the premises are at the highest level. Eyes are usually treated by older people, by the youth - far less often. True, people who are involved in programming and recording documents on computers also often need support for their eyesight. And this entire "group of sufferers" is treated by a very small medical team. The most amazing thing is that you are registered for hospitalization and the next day, if you have all the certificates required for the operation, you will be operated on. And if your body allows it, then in two days you are already at home and healthy.

It is worthy of great respect and admiration that many of the most complex operations that take into account an exclusive bunch of diseases and deviations, individual for each patient, are performed by Professor V.N.Trubilin that without giving up his practice, also teaches a large number of trainees and medical residents.

Every day, from eight in the morning, the professor arrives at work and leaves only in the evening, having carried out many operations and consulted a great number of people. I can say without emotion or strained meaning that people working in such a regime are real heroes. Today, our government pays special attention to the health of older citizens, their role in upbringing children and grandchildren, passing on to the younger generations the sense of teamwork, their great life experience in which our modern society is in great need. Without this, success in science and culture, in the development of new technologies, in developing and maintaining a healthy, prosperous and contented society is impossible.
