Press tour: point one

On 6 April, Dubna became the first point on the route of a range of press tours to scientific organizations of the Russian Federation where excursions for students and schoolchildren are held.

The events are held within the framework of the initiative of the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia "Popular Science Tourism". Journalists, bloggers, representatives of TV channels talked to JINR scientists at the press conference. JINR Director Grigory Trubnikov, FLNR Scientific Leader Yuri Oganessian, Head of the FLNP Sector Inga Zinkovskaya answered the journalists' questions. The participants of the press tour visited the exhibition "JINR basic facilities", visited sightseeing points of scientific tourism, as well as the NICA accelerator complex.
