Traditional Accelerator Seminar

On 20-25 September in Alushta, on the basis of the JINR SPA & Resort Hotel "Dubna" , the XIV International Seminar named after V.P.Sarantsev "Problems of colliders and charged particle accelerators. Accelerators for Applied Purposes" will be held.

The purpose of the Seminar: exchange of information and discussion of issues of accelerator science and technology, physics of charged particle beams, development of new projects for lepton and hadron colliders, improvement of operating facilities, use of accelerators for scientific and applied purposes, involvement of young scientists in solving issues of accelerator technology.

The Seminar programme consists of oral and poster presentations. Topics discussed: projects of ultrahigh energy colliders; advanced ion accelerators and colliders; cyclic electron-positron colliders; generation of coherent radiation in FEL; dynamics of beams of charged particles; new acceleration methods; accelerators for applied purposes.

Selected reports of the Seminar (on the proposal of the Programme Committee) are going to be published in the journal Physics of Elementary Particles and Atomic Nuclei, Letters.
